On this gem of a vacation, you can view the famous Gingerbread Houses on Martha’s Vineyard, ride the island of Nantucket on a bike path, and enjoy the Cape bike paths with their unique roundabouts for bikes only in parts of the ride. It is an amazing experience.

Day 1, Saturday
Check-in throughout the day. Visit the city and shops and watch the largest recreational boating and second largest commercial fishing port on Cape Cod. In the evening meet new friends during the Welcome Dinner and Get Together.

Dinner: Roadhouse Restaurant - Hyannis, Massachusetts
Menu Selection (based on 2010 trip):
- Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli - with mushrooms and spinach in a pesto tomato broth.
- Scrod Fish - melt in your mouth with a light crumb and butter batter, served with your choice of baked or mashed potato and vegetable.
- Grilled Double-Cut Stuffed Pork Chop - stuffed with prosciuto, spinach, roasted red peppers. and mozzarella, topped with a port wine demi-glace, served with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetable.
- Chicken Parmesan - served with penne pasta.
- Plus salad.
Day 2, Sunday
Ride a very short distance and catch an early high speed ferry from Hyannis to Martha's Vineyard. Then bicycle Martha's Vineyard enjoying unspoiled landscapes, beautiful ocean views and architectural styles, including its famous gingerbread cottages for the day arriving at Oaks Bluff. Breakfast and dinner with the group. [28 (or 0 or 52) miles]

Day 3, Monday
Enjoy the beautiful island of Martha’s Vineyard at your leisure using your bike, walking or taking a guided tour. Leave on a late high speed ferry back to Hyannis. Dinner with the group. [35 (or 0) miles]

Dinner: Albertos Ristorante - Hyannis, Massachusetts
Menu Selection (based on 2010 trip):
- Scallops Gorgonzola – Homemade tagliatelli pasta served with pan seared scallops in a brandy cream sauce with gorgonzola cheese.
- Cannelloni – Pasta stuffed with ground beef, veal, pork, pine nuts and spinach, finished with tomato, bechamel and melted cheese.
- Scampi – Jumbo shrimp sauteed with olive oil, butter, garlic, shallots and scallions, served over linguine.
- Parmigiana – Breaded cutlet topped with tomato sauce and melted cheese with veal, chicken or eggplant.
- Plus a salad.
Day 4, Tuesday
Take the high speed ferry to Nantucket. Spend the day exploring the bike friendly island on well-maintained bicycle paths and low traffic roads. Take a late high speed ferry back in the evening. Breakfast with the group. [0 - 29 miles]

Day 5, Wednesday
Ride the paved bike trails and recommended bike routes to Orleans enjoying quaint villages as you pass through wooded areas, salt marshes, cranberry bogs and freshwater ponds. Breakfast and dinner with the group. [21 (or 36) Miles]

Dinner: Cosmos Catering (based on 2010 trip)
- Mixed Green Salad - Summer tomatoes, english cucumbers and toasted pecans with balsamic vinaigrette; and
- Wine and Garlic Marinated Beef and Pepper Kabobs; and Lemon Garlic Chicken with Onion Kabobs, and Assorted Vegetable Kabobs.
- with Mediterranean Roasted Potato Salad - sweet potato, red onions, calamata olives and feta cheese.

Day 6, Thursday
Explore Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown and take-in the beauty of Cape Cod, having lunch in Wellfleet or Provincetown, while overlooking Cape Cod Bay. Take a whale watching tour or shop at a wide variety of stores. Enjoy a bonfire and Smores in the evening! Breakfast and Dinner with the group. [54 (0 or 27) Miles]

- Academy Swordfish - Academy's Signature Dish: Grilled center-cut swordfish, topped with basil and parmesan glaze, served with mashed potatoes
- Chicken Milanese - Tender chicken breast crusted with parmesan panko breadcrumbs, served with garlic pasta
- New York Sirloin - Cent cut sirloin, grilled and served with bearnaise sauce and mashed potatoes.
- Spinach Ravioli - Succulent spinach ravioli in a cacciatore sauce
Day 7, Friday
Take a short morning ride back to Hyannis and start your journey home. [17 (or 27) Miles]

Please note all trip information is based on previous trips and/or contracted lodging and restaurants and is subject to change based on availability or specific trip needs.
Riding difficulty:
Riders who are comfortable riding at least 10 miles per hour should have a very enjoyable trip with only a few hills. The majority of the ride is on bicycle paths. All riders may ride at their own pace, slow or fast. If a rider is tired or feels like riding less on any day, the SAG vehicle will transport the rider to the hotel.
Arriving by automobile:
Drive to the Hyannis Inn, 473 Main Street, Hyannis, Massachusetts, leaving your car at the hotel for the duration of the trip.
Arriving by plane:
You can fly into Boston's Logan Airport with P&B Bus Shuttle Service (508) 746-0378 to Hyannis.
Deposit:
$200 due to reserve your spot and the remainder due 45 Days before the trip start.

Bicycles:
- Most riders bring their own bicycles by automobile
- To ship your bike, we would suggest using www.shipbikes.com for around $150 roundtrip for shipping
- We would recommend bringing or shipping your own bicycles; if this is not possible, you can rent a hybrid bicycle from a bike rental company located within a half mile from the starting hotel (508) 775-9717 for about $150 for the week
