Day 2, Saturday

The best way to start a Maui bike vacation is to ride down a volcano - Haleakala. You will be driven by Cruiser Phil’s van up to the top of the volcano and wait to take the most memorable pictures as the sun rises through the clouds.  View Maui from above the clouds, an unforgettable way to take in the island.  Then descend on your bicycle through five distinct ecosystems as you cruise through Eucalyptus forests and beautiful ocean views. (Cruiser Phil will provide us with specific volcano-bikes to safely navigate the road down the volcano).  [35 miles]

Breakfast:  Coffee, bars, bananas and yogurt provided by Cruiser Phil’s.

Settle into your new home only steps from shopping at Whaler Village or snorkeling at Black Rock, which is considered one of the best snorkeling locations on the island.  You can also enjoy the beach or the whale shaped pool.  Then send actual painted coconuts as postcards, telling friends of your adventures on Maui.
